What does 'log of oil' mean? Thank you!
I've seen 'log of oil' in the Holy Bible and get confused about its definition. Could you please tell me what does it mean and the definition of 'log' in this context? Thank you in advance!

This is a measurement of about 236 ml. The Bible has lots of strange measurement: cubits, spans, etc.

For a very detailed description, see

A problem is that in many cases nobody actually knows the exact size of the old units.

In general the bible is written in old English and most people will be confused about the language unless they also read and study it. This was less than one half of a pint (see Leviticus 14:10 -- "a log of oil") I did a google search.
