The below sentence is wrong, I have rewrote in two ways below. Please review if the two sentence below are correct?
- I prefer to go to the cinema to watch DVDs at home.
1 I prefer going to the cinema to watching DVDs at home.
2 I prefer to go to the cinema rather than watch DVDs at home.

I have REWRITTEN IT in two ways below. or I REWROTE IT in two ways below.
1 I prefer going to the cinema to watching DVDs at home. This is good.
2 I prefer to go to the cinema rather than watch DVDs at home. It sounds good but really needs TO before WATCH.
1st one is better.
