Learning French - Je vais chez moi
Hi!!
I started learning French by myself and I have a doubt:
What does chez mean?
Google translator and Lingee translated "chez" as a preposition..
But when I write "Je vais chez moi" it is translated as "I am going to my home"
Merci! \O/

chez + someone is a better way of saying "la maison de..."
It can also be used for "at" ("j'ai vu ma voisine chez le boucher") but the most common form you'll see it is in the "chez-+somebody's (house)" form!
