What is the difference between: "ambient", "ambience", "environment" and "milieu"?
Ambience- the atmosphere in a place
Environment- the surroundings or conditions in which an organism lives
Milieu- a person's social environment or background
Unlike the other three, which are nouns, "ambient" is an adjective and it means "relating to the immediate surroundings of something"
