What is the difference between Brillar and relucir.
Would someone please let me know what the difference is between Brillar and relucir

son sinónimos. La diferencia va a depender del contexto y del uso que se le quiera dar.
Ej. es más común decir sol brillante que sol reluciente.
Aunque relucir tiene un significado que brillar no tiene.
Relucir también puede significar : aparecer inesperada o inoportunamente.
Ej. !"Salen a relucir nuevos datos sobre el robo al banco"

The main difference is that brillar is more used for things an relucir for people
Ex: Estas muy reluciente(o brillante)
But for example, for the sentence:
El sol esta reluciente, is better to use ,El sol esta brillante o el sol brilla mucho.
