What does 초 까지 mean in this sentence?
After asking a teacher friend when summer vacation starts, this was the response:
방학은 6월부터. 이미 시작했죠. 근데 6월 초 까지는 학교 나가서 마무리 작업을 해야되요. 성적표도 내야하고…
I translated most of the sentences, but I don’t understand the 초 까지 part. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

"6월 초까지" means "early June." We use 초,중순, 말 after the month to divide one month.
In most cases, 초(순) - 1~10th of the month/ 중순 - 11~20th of the month / 말 - 21~ by the end of the month. For example,
6월 초 = early June,
6월 중순= the middle of June
6월 말 = the end of June
