Grammar : 공부/취직 준비는 잘 돼요? *공부/취직* 준비는 잘 돼요? I read this example in a book, but I didn't understand the meaning, maybe > you got a job? I know this meaning 준비하다 get prepared 잘 all right 되다become *** Or maybe it comes from some grammar with a different meaning > 는 잘 되다 ???? * this is correct* ㅠㅠ 도와줘서 감사합니다 .

1. 공부는 잘 돼요? Is your study going well? (I don't think we say 공부 준비 very much - 공부 doesn't take much 준비) 2. 취직 준비는 잘 돼요? Is your job search going well? (I think this is commonly said) Sentence-2 can be a bit misleading because 준비 normally means "preparation" but in this case it's not exactly that. Hear it means all the (main) work you do to find a job, like sending applications, contacting employers, etc. It doesn't mean preparing yourself for a new job after finding one (for that, we might say 첫 출근 준비는 잘 돼요?, but there isn't usually much preparation necessary). 취직 means finding or having a job (usually for the first time or after a period of unemployment), and 잘 되다 has the usual meaning of something going well, bringing good results, etc.
