怎么拼写? - windy days - guāfēng?
I heard that guāfēng means “the wind blows”, but I don’t know how to write guā. My Chinese input method offers these two options: 刮风 and 括风. ¿Which guā is correct? They have the same radical (舌 shé) and tone (guā), I have no idea which one is correct. 非常感谢你!

"刮风" is the correct one.“刮”is a verb, means use the knife to cut something. In this words, the 刮means the wind just like the knife pierce into your body, like the chinese word "寒风刺骨".
The 括 always speak in "kuò",in chinese many words have several pronunciation. For example “乐”,in the word 快乐 say "le",but in 音乐 it says "yue".括is one of them.

你好
刮风is correct, "刮"有用刀去削的意思. 这里"刮"是把风比喻作刀削的动作..比如说:刮苹果皮(我们经常说"削苹果皮",但是意思是一样的.
括的拼音一般是读kuò,其实很少读guā这个音,只有一种情况"搜刮"它是榨取的意思..
