Can you explain what you mean by 'I get to school on my friend's bike but I don't ride it'? The meaning of this isn't obvious. Do you mean that your friend was pedalling his bike and you were perched on the back of it?

You could say : "I rode my friend's bike to go to school" or "I took my friend's bike to go to school"
