Al menos en España, es correcto y común usar cualquiera de las dos formas:
Ponte tus pantalones negros hoy
Ponte tu pantalón negro hoy

In Argentina "pantalón" is more common than "pantalones". We prefer to say "pantalones" for plural, like "ayer compré dos pantalones" (yesterday I bought two pants). But both are correct.
