Tem só mais este significado fora de "mientras", mas que penso que para ti é obvio... . (Conjunção conformativa) (na qualidade de): como, en cuanto ele foi muito conhecido enquanto ator él fue muy famoso como actor enquanto presidente, tomei esta decisão como presidente, he tomado esta decisión
