How can I say "girl" in Japanese (20-30 years old)?
How can I say "girl" if that person has 20-30 years old?
I think 女の子 is too young and 女 seems very generic. If there are more words for different ages, would be useful to know too.

Creo que puedes decir 女の子, lo usamos no solo para niñas, sino también, para mujeres/chicas de la misma generación o un poco más jóven que tú, como "chicas" en español. En genenal, lo que suena mejor es decir 女性(じょせい), y un poco menos formal es 女の人(おんなのひと).
Decir 女(おんな) suena descortés en muchos casos y no te quisiera recomendar.
(Nota: Usar 女 o 女の como adjetivo no hay problema. 女の先生、女の友だち/女友だち(おんなともだち)etc)
