What is the meaning of this word?
I was reading a short story by Kawakami Hiromi and this sentence came up:
熊と私とは満更赤の他人というわけでもないことがわかったのである。
What is the meaning of 満更赤?

Hi!
I believe that 満更 is analogous to 全く or 必ずしも which are adverbs.
赤の他人 is an idiomatic expression, meaning (a complete stranger).
