What do you call a pick up truck in the UK?
I found some online answers that say "pick up truck" is used in the UK as well.
If it is used, how is it written? "pick-up truck" or "pick up truck"?
Thank you <3

Hi , we tend not to use the "truck" on the end , rather just call it a "pick up" , some people ( particularly those in the motor or commercial vehicle trade) would more likely use the term " flat bed van" or "flat bed lorry" , but a "pick up" ( as in " he was driving a red , ford pick up" ) is the most widely understood and used term

If you are interested in Australian/New Zealand usage, we call it a 'ute', which is short for 'utility vehicle'.
