Hi
What’s the difference between index and table of contents in a book?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Arwa! An index is an alphabetical list of names, subjects, etc., with references to the places where they occur, typically found at the end of a book. A table of contents is a list, usually found on a page before the start of a written work, of its chapter or section titles or brief descriptions with their commencing page numbers.
