I would use indicative, because in my opinion 'suggerire' doesn't involve any kind of uncertainty and therefore I see no reason for using subjunctive. With the alternative "mi fa pensare che" (which I strongly prefer over "mi suggerisce che"), and with the similar phrase "mi fa sospettare che", I would use subjunctive, instead.
