"Magasin populaire" est un vieux terme pour parler de magasin multi-commerces. Ils vendent de l'alimentaire mais aussi du textile et toute sorte de choses ! Un bon exemple est Monoprix.
"Magasin populaire" is quite an old term referring to "magasin multi-commerces". They sell all sorts of things: good, clothing, DIY... Monoprix is a "magasin populaire". Look it up! :)
