Hello Arsal, this question has puzzled people for centuries and every nationality would answer differently as to what constitutes an ideal character. In general, it is said that "character" is the expression of the personality of a human being, and that it reveals itself in his/her conduct. In this sense everyone has a character.
At the same time only human beings, not animals, have character: it implies rationality. But in addition to this usage, the term is also employed in a narrower sense, as when we speak of a man "of character". Usually people mean that the person has been well brought up, is well mannered, courteous and lives by a set of morals, which may or may not be determined by religious beliefs such as the 10 Commandments. In this sense "character "implies a certain unity of qualities with a recognizable degree of constancy.
