what is "rouge " exactly is ?
i learn the word "rouge" in my french course.it means red.
i consult the english dictionary and found that in english it means 胭脂.
do western people also use 胭脂?
if not,what rouge exactly is?

Hello Estel,
Rouge means in french "red" ,the red color ,but it also means 胭脂 , the blusher or the makeup consisting of a pink or red powder applied to the cheeks. The word is used also in other languages like German and English to mean that make up.
