Do we need "that clause" in this sentence or can it be avoided?
Hi friends,
Do we need "that clause" in this sentence or can it be avoided?
" I am so happy to witness that you go from strength to strength each year. "
Thanks in advance!

You can delete the 'that', but it changes the meaning very slightly.
Without 'that', you are talking about seeing the changes in the person.
With 'that', you are talking about seeing that the person is changing.
