Cherry is right. riendose se refiere que la accion es pronominal, es decir, se reir de si mismo. es mi idea..... cuidate mucho.

Ellos se están riendo = Ellos están riéndose. Ellos se están marchando = Ellos están marchándose Yo estoy riéndome, tú estás riéndote, él está riéndose, nosotros estamos riéndonos, vosotros estáis riéndoos, ellos están riéndose.
