“Do you remember me” would be the usual way to ask whether someone remembers you. I’ve never heard someone say “Can you remember me?” If I had to force a meaning on that question, “can” suggests that something unusual may be interfering with the person’s memory (for example, your friend suffered a serious head injury that caused memory loss, and at his hospital bedside you ask “can you remember me?”).
