the sentence is not quite correct, and it seems to be lacking the word (the) between was and same. for example: it was the same compared to you. this is still an odd sentence as it needs context to understand what it is representing in the sentence. also the you in the sentence is it the pronoun you or the possessive pronoun your

In my opinion it would be much better if you will say like
" it is/was same like you/yours."
