is it the same meaning for "Saving your presence!" ?

No, it means "may we hope that the thing just mentioned does not come true." Example: "If the President dies, absit omen, the nation will fall into civil war." It's from Latin, and 99.9% of people will not know what it means (I had to look it up). In US English, we often say "God forbid" to express the same idea.
