"Fun" and "Funny"
Hello everybody!
I found that the word "fun" can be an adjective as well as the word "funny". So is there any difference between these words?
Any answer would be appreciated.

'fun' is a noun that seems like an adjective, meaning 'enjoyable'
'funny' is an adjective that means 'humorous'
eg: A rollercoaster is fun but not funny.

The words are actually quite different in English, but I think the two meanings aren't distinguished as clearly in some other languages.
Something that is "fun" is something that you enjoy doing. Little kids will say that playing with toys or running around is "fun." For adults, going to a concert can be fun. Seeing a movie can be fun. Even simply having lunch with your friends or reading a book can be fun. The word "fun" implies that you enjoy something, usually in a somewhat childlike way. If reading books makes you happy the same way that playing with toys makes children happy, then reading books is "fun" for you.
The word "funny" means humorous or comical. We use "funny" to describe a joke, or something that happens that you would laugh about because it seems silly or ridiculous.
Many people would say that seeing a movie is fun, even if the movie is not funny (it's not the kind of movie that makes you laugh). You might love going to the movies, but you might hate watching comedies. In that case, you could say that even though comedies are funny, you don't think it's fun to watch them.

Funny is a funny word ;)
It can mean humorous / comical / amusing as the others have said. It can also however mean strange / odd / unusual. The only way to know which meaning is meant is via context, and even then it can be unclear. People sometimes deliberately use the word 'funny' so that their meaning is ambiguous.
"This soup tastes funny" "Your mother is a funny woman".

Funny can be an adjective and a noun. I would say fun is much more likely to be used as a noun compared to funny.
