The difference between 'as age increases' and 'with increasing age'
Females between 15 to 24 years old witnessed a percentage of 47.7% ,around 5% lower than males in the same age group, rising slightly as the age increases.
The meaning i want to convey here is that the percentage of females becomes higher when they become older. but i found native speakers more often uses 'with increasing age'.
Is this the case? and why should 'as age increases' be replaced by 'with increasing age' ? Thank you!
