Si usa "avere" o "essere"?

Ha dovuto arrendersi
Secondo me "Era dovuto arrendersi " sembra più logico a causa del successivo verbo riflessivo. Però ho trovato "Ha dovuto arrendersi" in un romanzo.

"ha dovuto arrendersi" é la forma corretta. Nota la forma riflessiva incorporata nel verbo Arrendere.
Usando il verbo "essere", la frase corretta diventa "si è dovuto arrenderel"
Entrambi i modi sono corretti.
