Can be used with a verb (pandiwa) Halimbawa | Example: Lalong gumanda ang kanta nang lapatan niya ng musika. | The song became more beautiful when he/she accompanied it with music. Verb (pandiwa) in this example is "ganda" act or state of being beautiful (OR to become beautiful). Past tense: "gumanda" which means "became beautiful" Halimbawa | Example: Lalong umiyak ang bata nang umalis ang kanyang ina. | The child cried more (OR cried a lot) when his/her mother left. Verb: Iyak - To cry (Past tense: Umiyak) Can be used with a subject: Lalo akong tumaba nang kumain ako ng madami. | I got fatter when I ate more.
