Don't go back and forth -> meaning?
Is this like "Don't be indecisive"?

Being indecisive means to be unable to make up your mind.
Technically, a person can't be going "back and forth" on their decision if they can't make a decision.
I think a more accurate description for "back and forth" is the word, vacillate.
One minute they say, yes; the next minute they say, no. They are vacillating.
