Divertente = fun, interessante = interesting. Il primo significa che la cosa ti diverte, ti fa ridere.
Il secondo significa che ti interessa, che non ti annoia, o che ti piace.
"la storia romana è interessante" (mi piace, ma non mi fa ridere)
"questo film è divertente" (mi fa ridere)
