What do you call the people selling food/things on the street? Vendor? Hawker? And what's that table things are put on? Is that "stand" or "stall"?

Hi, I am from Massachusetts and here we would say that person is a vendor. You can also say "street vendor". Their table would be a stand. A stall sounds like a "bathroom stall" to me. I have personally never heard anyone say hawker :)
