Which English name is more suitable?
My Korean name is Ah In Jeong(정아인).
I want to translate my name to English, but it’s hard for me.
Which one is better?
Ah-in Jeong
Ah In Jeong
Ain Jeong
I heard that using hiphen(Ah-in Jeong) or using separate two words for the first name(Ah In Jeong) makes difficulty in figuring out which one is first name.Is it right?
I want to make one word for my first name if it’s possible, but i am worried about the word “Ain” beacause people can pronounce it both ways.(a sound in “ah” and a sound in “apple”)
Please give me a good advice.

Hi Ah In, Denise here from Australia. If you are a girl I would choose Ahn, If a boy I would choose Ian :-)

FWIW, Ann is a very common English girl's name (sometimes spelt Anne, but the pronunciation is the same for both).
The A is pronounced as in 'apple'.

Just use Ain and correct people the first time they mispronounce it. :)

Thanks! But the A should be pronounced as in “Adele” or “Ah(exclamation)” not “ei”.

People could also pronounce Ain as in pain, which I guess is not correct?
