Enquiry on the Status of Application Versus Enquiry about the Status of Application. Hi friends, Which of them is more grammatically correct?. Should I put my Email's title :"Enquiry on the Status of Application" or "Enquiry about the Status of Application"?.

Enquiry on is always correct while enquiry about only works in oral and informal situations

Grammatically, they both sound perfectly acceptable. If you're trying to sounds more professional, however, I would use "about" as opposed to "on". That's just my personal opinion. Honestly, though, they both sound fine. I wish you luck with your application!

Sorry, didn't read that part. I would use ABOUT, not ON.
