Question about ‘Meh’ I learned a new word ‘meh’ from one of the Netflix series. According to the Merriam-Webster's dictionary, it means 'used to express indifference or mild disappointment.' Is it a word in common usage? I created a short imaginary conversation below. I hope I used it correctly and naturally. ************************************** A: You watched a movie we talked about, didn’t you? How was it? B: Meh. It was okay, but I found it a little boring. I fell asleep in the middle and missed most of the parts!

It's quite a new word and not used that often.. you have used it correctly in your story, although I agree with Adam.. if you say meh, you will probably say minimal other words! It comes from 'The Simpsons'.

The word "Meh" is an interjection that also serves as an expression of boredom. When it is being used as a language, it simply means the speaker is uninterested or apathetic.

Many thanks for your comment, Adam! I will have to pay attention to how to use 'meh.' I appreciate you helping me.

A teenager or younger adult is better to answer this one. If you use meh, you would probably use minimal language as well. Meh, fell asleep in the middle, and missed it. Saying "but I found it boring" is included mostly within the word meh already.
