What is 'youse' and 'mees' exactly?

I'm guessing it means "yours" and "mine". But, this is either a joke or a very unusual dialect, not something you would ever actually say.

Youse and mees is you and me. The author was trying to effect a New Jersey accent. It's a bit of a cliche/stereotype of New Jersey Italians. You'll hear it in a lot of gangster movies.
