직면하다 vs 처하다 Are there any differences for the usage between these two words? 직면하다 vs 처하다

I think the basic meaning is same but 직면하다 means to confront(a situation) and 처하다 means to be in a situation so meaning is the same but we say 상황을 직면하다 while 상황에 처하다
