So, I am applying for an internship and I came across this sentence. What does it mean? does it mean that I am a citizen in the country that I am applying the internship for or the country that I live in?

The job has a base or home office in a specific country. It is asking if you are a citizen of that country.

If the job is in Peru, they want to know if you are Peruvian.
If the job is in Armenia, are you Armenian? That's want they want to know.
