讲台 or 讲桌 for a teacher's lecture desk in the front of a classroom? Hi, Which word do you use for the teacher's "lecture desk" that's usually in the front of a classroom? 讲台 or 讲桌? Thank you.

Hi Darker (lol love your name). Yes, my question came out weird because Pinyin input method does not distinguish 教师 vs. 教室. I understand I should've been more careful.

Yes, I agree with Shu-Le. And your further question is weird. I presume you actually mean “教室前面”, not "教师前面"? Yes, the teacher's lecture desk is 讲桌.
