my anguish felt validate....what does it mean?
And He listened. He just listened to it all. It was surreal… I felt enchanted; like I was walking into a bright, vast, solacing embrace. Slowly and gently, I felt relieved and comforted. I was still sad and knew this wasn’t going to be easy, but my anguish felt validated. I felt understood; I felt honest.

This definitely describes the Human condition. Sometimes when we are in anguish, we feel completely alone. We feel that no one understands. However, this character narrating this piece is stating that the person who listened to them seems to understand their pain. The pain isn't gone, but it has been acknowledged. That is the first step of healing.
