I researched it and 고분고분하다 translates to obedient and submissive?

고분고분하다: 말이나 행동이 공손하고 부드럽다. (be humble and well-mannered but soft)
(그녀는 부모님 앞에서 항상 고분고분하게 행동한다.)
순종하다: 순순히 따르다. (follow easily without objection)
(선생님 말씀에 순종한다.)
복종하다: 남의 명령이나 의사를 그대로 따라서 한다. (obey other people's order or thought)
(모든 신하들은 왕의 말에 복종하였다.)
공손하다: 말이나 행동이 겸손하고 예의 바르다. (be humble and well-mannered)
(술잔을 두 손으로 공손하게 받았다.)
