In computer jargon, a "kludge" means a clumsy and ugly solution to a problem, and it is pronounced to rhyme with "huge."
"Rouge" does not really rhyme with "huge"--it pronounced "roozh," not "roodzh"--but it's close, and depending on what you're doing, it might be close enough.
