what's the best and fastest way to learn Pinyin ? I want to learn Mandarin and I think that the first step is to learn Pinyin. I'm right? if yes, how can I learn this system fast? thanks.

I don't think there is any particularly super fast way. What's important is just starting. However, I highly recommend you become familiar with the IPA: http://www.ipachart.com/ This is probably the best chart that I know about for Pinyin: https://chinese.yabla.com/chinese-pinyin-chart.php Each column is a separate vowel sound. For example: bu, pu, mu all rhyme with English "too." nü, lü, qu, xu, and ju all rhyme. They make a German umlaut sound. It is not the same vowel as English "too." It has every possible syllable and tone with clear pronunciation. Good luck

Actually many Chinese children learn pinyin during their 6~7 years old.But before they learn it,they have spoken Chinese well.In my opinion,as a Chinese, pinyin just help me speak Chinese more standard in pronunciation,I think. But I do not know how foreigners feel when learning Chinese, haha. But in China, pinyin is not the first step.
