English Grammar Hi Friends which one is right? I am at a convocation right now or I am in a convocation right now? I am at a wedding dinner right now or I am in a wedding dinner right now?

For both of these, I would use "at", because you are only there for a few hours (or so). You would use "in" if you are trying to describe where you are to someone else. For example, "I am in the restaurant."

I am at a wedding reception right now. Convocation is not a commonly used word. 'Conference' might be the word you mean. And you would be 'at' it.
