This is the same as saying ‘That is how I or we do things around here’. Usually it suggests a maverick attitude to rules or norms. Eg ‘We don’t need a hotel room for the last night of the holiday because we’ll stay out all night. That’s how we roll.’ ‘I got invited to to a party in New York. I bought a plane ticket and went that day. That’s how I roll.’
