so regret
These things I so regret in my life. Pride. Vanity.(from a book)
Do you say so regret or regret so?
I ask this question because
We could say I love you so, but I rarely hear I so love you.

'so regret'.
'so' preceding 'regret' is stressing or emphasizing that regret.

normally for using "so" as an intensifier or in place of "very' we place it before whatever is being intensified.
"so regret" would be the most natural, but you can place it after, it becomes like an afterthought in this position.
