"embrake" isn't a word, so I'm guessing you either mean "embark" or "embrace"?
"Embark" means to leave somewhere on a boat or begin a special life journey.
---> "He embarked (on a ship) for Africa"
---> "She embarked on her new career"
Example 1 is definitely the most common use of this word.
"Embrace" means to give someone a passionate hug or accept a difficult change.
---> "They embraced each other lovingly"
---> "He embraced the fact that he had lost his job"
Both examples are common uses of this word.
