why does sneaky Pete means phoney wine in slang? Is Pete a name of someone? if so,y does Pete has something to do with wine??

Hi Ruby you are right in the sense that sneaky Pete is a slang term for very cheap wine, often the dregs in the bottle. Pete is also short for the name Peter.
