Which one is more commonly used ? “ lamb kebabs or lamb skewers?”
How to describe small pieces of meat and vegetables cooked on a stick ?
One of my friends told me it should be called kebabs like lamp kebab and beef kebab , another friend told me that it should be called lamp skewers and beef skewers ?
I’m kinda confused which one is more commonly used ?
I also wonder how I should call small pieces of vegetables cooked on a stick like an eggplant kebab or skewer ?
Thanks a lot !

Hi Apple
Both are correct, skewers are a bit more formal and used in recipes and the same could be said about vegetables..take a look
