The song 'Got the time' means that the singer hasn't got enough time to do all the things he has to do each day.

Here's what a band member said about the meaning of the song 'Got the life' "That's a song how everything's always handed to me. How I look up to God and don't want this anymore. Like I want something more out of life than all this. And I've got everything I really need but I sometimes don't like. I don't know how to explain it. I have to let it sit through the songs more to actually get into what I write. I truly know, really, the meanings of the songs almost. That's what I'm getting out of it right now." – Jonathan Davis

1. The full, grammatically correct question is: "Have you got the time?" In spoken English we very often drop the first word, and other words, when unemphasised. 2. This should be "Got the Life" by Korn http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/korn/gotthelife.html Hmm... I think this is a play on the phrase "get a life". This is sometimes said to people who you think are boring, geeky or pathetic. The singer is saying that he has got the life that many people tell others to get. It would be a good idea to get other opinions on this as I am not sure. Anna www.englishharvest.blogspot.com
