puddle pails?
Wait for me
and I'll be there
and we'll walk home together,
if it's raining puddle pails
or if it's sunny weather.
I'm confused about "if it's raining puddle pails"
what does "puddle pails" mean? Are there any difference between puddle pails and puddle?
question number 2: what does the sentence -if it's raining puddle pails mean?
Thank you very much(^_^)

“Puddle pails” is not a common phrase. You won’t see it elsewhere.
It is just being used here by the poet to mean “raining heavily”.

Poetry, being tinged with open meaning, can be hard to understand. 'Pails' means 'buckets' So maybe buckets of water (puddles?). Not really clear.
